CASTING ON..........
Hi, This short clip shows how with the great skill these glassblowers had they could control how big the blob of glass was. This would have been how the 4 bosses would have been applied to the Hogan bowl and also the vases.

Hi,
Another short film this time in colour showing the " crew " changing a pot. Note the jar like 'Skittle' being fitted, there is one on the left and one on the right. These are used for holding small batches of coloured glass.

A fascinating SILENT film showing many individuals making a mold blown vessel. One prepares the ball,then another blows into the mold operated by a lad on the floor. Another then pours water onto the iron and it is taken away to be knocked off.
